Dr. Dionne Sills Busio received her B.S., M.Ed., and Ph.D from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She has held a variety of positions, including lead preschool teacher and early interventionist in her more than 25 years as an early childhood education professional. After completing her Ph.D in 2016, she became a faculty member at Appalachian State University in January of 2017. She is the director of the Birth to Kindergarten Program.
Dr. Busio’s research interest focus on pedagogical documentation, inclusion, and teacher preparation.
