Tana Tirado

Tana joined the Lucy Brock team in June of 2018 as a lead teacher in the Infant/Toddler 1 classroom.  She was born in Camden, New Jersey and moved to Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico when she was one and a half years old.  At the age of twenty she moved to Charlotte, North Carolina and decided to go back to school and pursue her true calling, education.  Tana graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Child Development with a Birth – Kindergarten education license from Appalachian State in May 2018.  She is a mother to a beautiful toddler, Mateo, named after is dad Matthew, they fuel her drive to do what she does wholeheartedly everyday.  Tana has plans of continuing her education into graduate studies, but is currently focusing on enjoying her early years of teaching and her family.  Her goal as a teacher is to impact children’s lives and be a source of support, encouragement, and advocacy to and for families in her community.
