Congratulations to Sarah Grace and Kennedy Forbes, Family & Consumer Sciences Secondary Education students for placing second in the teaching competition in the Annual 2016 TEECA (Technology and Engineering Education Collegiate Association) Eastern Regional Conference at Virginia Beach November 13-15.

“This year's Teaching Lesson asked students to develop, deliver and reflect on a 10 minute lesson covering the cultural, social, economic and political effects of technology. Our team developed and presented a lesson for middle school students that focused on Food Production and What You Eat.
“Appstate TEECA team members, Sarah Crace a senior in Family and Consumer Sciences Education, Kennedy Forbes, a junior in Career and Technical Education - Family and Consumer Sciences Education and Laura Warren, a freshman in Commercial Photography placed 2nd in Teaching Lesson.”
